We are excited to share with you the relationship of “Orange Mound” and “Kisumu Kenya.” We are implementing the concept of “Cultural Diplomacy.” The idea of Kisumu Kenya and “Orange Mound” joining together is a matter of “Cultural Diplomacy.” Cultural diplomacy is a type of public diplomacy and soft power that includes the "exchange of ideas, information, art, language and other aspects of culture among nations and their peoples in order to foster mutual understanding" and build relationships.

Anthony “Amp” Elmore is producing the movie “Rock and Roll a Black Legacy” a movie about the African/American community of “Orange Mound” in Memphis. Elmore not only wrote Kenya and the Kisumu County the 3rd largest City in the country of Kenya in the movie, Elmore is proposing Kenya Governor Peter Nyong’o that he will allow Kenya Youth to shoot and direct the scenes in Kenya.

Elmore explains that these African youth may never get a chance to shoot a movie or get film credit or find connections in America. Via our coming to Kenya will bring excitement to Kenya. Elmore has 3 goals for his film 1. Education 2. Entertainment 3. Inspiration our filming in Kenya is “Cultural Diplomacy” in that we will connect Kenya to not only “Orange Mound” our plan is to connect Africans and African/Americans via culture.

Elmore notes that it would be grand if the newly elected President Dr. William Ruto would come to Memphis and support the “S.A.F.A.R.I. Initiative” Academy Aware Winner and star of the Black Panther movie can affect American & African Culture via just coming to Orange Mound and teaching African/Americans about African Culture via eating some African food. African/American has no idea about Africa culture in that most images of Africans and Africa is negative.

Elmore notes that the way to bridge the gap between Africans and African/Americans is via “Cultural Diplomacy.” Anthony "Amp" Elmore Jr. Plans t attend FESTAC in Kisumu, Kenya.
