Academy Award winner & BLack Panther Star Lupita Nyong'o is connected to Orange Mound in Memphis

While we in Memphis in "Orange Mound" at the time of this posting have never met Lupita Nyong'o, we are connected to her via her father and who I call my uncle "Professor Peter Nyong'o.  Professor Nyong'o promised to come back to Memphis and he will bring his family to Memphis including film star Lupita Nyong'o.  Professor Nyong'o specifically informed me that after his August 2022 election he would work with Anthony "Amp" Elmore regarding his mission to honor one of Kenya's founding father's Tom Mboya.

Memphian Anthony "Amp" Elmore dedicated his life to completing the work of both Dr. Martin Luther King who died in Memphis from an asassin's bullet in 1968 and that of Kenya's Tom Mboya who also died from an assassin's bullet in 1969.   Elmore is asking Professor Nyong'o to bring his daughter Lupita Nyong'o join in the effort and plans to build "The Tom Mboya Dr. Martin Luther King Education and Cultural Center in Kenya."  Elmore is also asking the Nyong'o family to support the "2026 S.A.F.A.R.I. Homecoming Celebration in Nairobi, Kenya."

The celebration with mark Kenya as the "Returning point" whereas African/Americans start in Kenya" to find their African Heritage. Elmore is asking the Kenya Government to develop a "Formal culture to welcome  African/Americans to Africa".  Elmore wants to develop the "Barack Obama Heritage Tour" whereas Americans can follow the true pathway of President Barack Obama Jr. whereas the roots of Barack Obama starts with Kenya's Tom Mboya.

Elmore celebration of honoring Tom Mboya in 2026 Elmore is wants to direct and produce "The Tom Mboya movie."

Elmore explains  that it is not from Kenya where the passion to honor Tom Mboya and build African and African/American relationship emerge it is from the  "Black Community of  Orange Mound in Memphis" where we can honor African both African/American and African Heritage.

Elmore notes that the highly educated African/Americans of a high social and economic background know or have tried Japanese Sushi, however you cannot find almost any African/American who have eaten "Ugali and Sukuma Wiki."  Whereas almost all elderly African/American know about the American version that is called  "Collar Green and Cornbread" and the old folk eating green with their bare hands. We ask Lupita Nyong'o to come to Orange Mound and help Americans to learn about African Culture.

In the above video I teach about African Food.  Most African/Americans have never socialized with African and know nothing about African Culture.  Blacks know about Frence, Italian, Mexican, Chinese or other ethnic foods, however in America via slavery Blacks were taught to hate Africa and African culture.  It was only those of us who call ourselves "Black Revolutionaries" who adopted African Heritage.  Today in America in 2023 it is considered "radical for African/Americans to engage or express African heritage.

In my personal case I traveled to Kenya for decades whereas I did not experience the local Kenya and African culture. I learned Africa from a "tourist prospective." In the above video I went to where local Africans engage.  There does not exist in Kenya "African/American Tours" nor does Kenya market to Black America or make products for the African/American market.  We want to chance this via African leaders engaging with Black America.
